VINTAGE ANGLE POISE DESK LAMP BY LUXO
An icon of lighting design, originally designed in 1937 Jac Jacobsen and produced by LUXO in Norway. Its popularity with architects transferred to the home office and bedside table seamlessly. Further made popular with Pixar studios adopting the design into their animation title in 1986.
This particular example is an excellent vintage version of the famed design, featuring the weighted square base and finished in a gloss white. The lamp features lovely patina across the piece, and presents in very good vintage condition with only light scuffs and markings on the gloss paint, which is still shiny and bright. The lamp is fully functional and would be an ideal piece on your home desk or as a very elegant bedside table lamp.
